B2B sports betting supplier Kambi has agreed a multi-year partnership with Mexico-facing operator Pickwin.
The deal will see Kambi provide its Turnkey Sportsbook solution to Pickwin, which it described as one of the fastest-growing online betting operators in the Mexican market.
Under the agreement, Pickwin will replace its previous third-party sportsbook supplier with Kambi’s solutions, including its Bet Builder product, advanced trading capabilities and regulatory compliance expertise.
Kambi added that Pickwin will also benefit from “shared margin-driving insights” from the supplier’s global partner network, which it said will enable superior pricing and risk management.
The partnership is set to launch immediately, and reinforces Latin America markets as a key focus area for Kambi.
Latam key focus for Kambi
Commenting on the deal, Kambi Group CEO Werner Becher said: “We are excited to partner with Pickwin and support their vision in delivering world-class sports betting experiences throughout Mexico.
“Our proven track record in Latin America, combined with our deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, makes this the ideal partnership to support sustainable growth.”
Diego Sanchez, co-founder and CEO of Pickwin, added: “Partnering with Kambi marks a pivotal moment for Pickwin as we continue our rapid growth in Mexico’s thriving sports betting market.
“Kambi’s reputation in the region gives us the confidence to deliver a premium experience to our players and we are excited about the opportunities this collaboration will present.”
Becher described Latam as a “major focus” for the business’ commercial operations following the release of its Q3 results last year.
That quarter saw the company generate revenue of €37.4m, a 13% decline year-on-year, while operating profit halved to €1.6m.
