Betano scores regional partnership with World Cup 2026

Kaizen Gaming-owned Betano has agreed a deal to become an official partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Under the regional agreement, Betano will serve as an official tournament supporter for both Europe and South America.

The deal marks the third time that Betano will support a major FIFA event. Betano was the first sports betting operator to partner FIFA when it served as an official regional supporter for the 2022 World Cup. It was also an official partner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

This summer’s World Cup will take place from 11 June to 19 July at locations across Canada, Mexico and the US. A record 48 teams will take part following changes to the tournament’s traditional format.

FIFA executive talks up sporting integrity

Romy Gai, chief business officer at FIFA, welcomed the partnership. He said it would help extend the reach of the World Cup into countries across Europe and South America, where Betano holds a series of licences – including the UK, Germany, Peru and Brazil.

“Since we first partnered with Betano four years ago, we have seen a genuine commitment to sporting integrity, bringing fans closer to our game and finding new, engaging ways to entertain them,” Gai said.

“We share these objectives and are glad to have this powerhouse by our side as we look forward to uniting the world through football once again in North America and beyond.”

Kaizen Gaming co-founder and CEO George Daskalakis added that the deal would support the company’s ongoing growth plans for Betano.

“Partnering with FIFA for the third time is a proud milestone for everyone at Kaizen Gaming and a clear reflection of our global evolution,” Daskalakis said. “Our focus now is to deliver a thrilling, innovative and secure experience for fans throughout the tournament.”
