The concept of the super app continues to garner attention in the gambling industry
Fanatics has combined its sportsbook, online casino and prediction market products into a single mobile super app, extending an industry shift toward consolidated gambling platforms.
The new Fanatics Sports & Casino app launched today (2 September), according to a company announcement, with one customer account and a shared FanCash balance. It also links activity to the Fanatics ONE loyalty programme.
Matt King, CEO of Fanatics, said:”Fanatics Sports & Casino gives fans across America one app where the experience travels with them, from betting the game, to trading on its biggest moments, to playing casino games.
“And because it’s Fanatics, every one of those bets, trades or plays earns FanCash; we can uniquely connect what fans play to what fans love in one ecosystem.”
Access still depends on local law. Fanatics Sportsbook operates in 23 states and Washington, DC, while Fanatics Casino is available in four states. Those are New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.
Fanatics Markets, its prediction markets business, is available in 24 states and four US territories. It ostensibly sidesteps states that have already taken a stance against prediction markets or where it operates a sportsbook.
The app automatically changes its available products according to a customer’s location.
Existing Sportsbook, Casino and Markets users can move into the consolidated app through an update. Their account details, balances, FanCash and loyalty status remain intact.
The launch pulls together businesses that Fanatics, the NFL’s latest betting partner, built in stages. Its sportsbook expansion accelerated after the $225m acquisition of PointsBet’s US operations, completed in April 2024.
Fanatics Markets followed in December 2025, initially using Crypto.com’s federally regulated infrastructure to offer event contracts.
Fanatics then agreed in July to acquire federally-regulated Water Street Labs and CX Clearinghouse from BGC Group. This gave the company its own federally regulated infrastructure for prediction markets.
Gambling “super apps” the wave of the future
Fanatics is not alone in moving toward a single digital entry point.
DraftKings announced its DraftKings Sports & Casino “Super App” in March. It was designed to combine Sportsbook, Predictions, Casino and Lottery through one account, with access adjusted by jurisdiction.
DraftKings later integrated its proprietary DKeX prediction exchange into that unified app in June. Its prediction product is now available nationwide, although individual markets vary by state.
Flutter Entertainment took a similar step with FanDuel in April. Its “One App” delivers sportsbook access where sports betting is permitted and FanDuel Predicts in non-sportsbook states.
Caesars has also pushed product consolidation without adding prediction markets. Its Caesars Sportsbook & Casino platform, along with 49 others, launched in Alberta in July. It also combines sports wagering and casino play in one service.
Fanatics is linking its three gambling products through FanCash rather than treating them as separate businesses.
Customers can earn the loyalty currency through sports betting, casino play and event-contract trading. They can then spend it across the wider Fanatics business, including on merchandise and collectibles.
That structure gives the new app a broader commercial role than simply reducing the number of downloads customers need.
