PGA Tour and DraftKings expand Betcast coverage to 12 events

For the 2026 season, the PGA Tour is increasing the scale of broadcast content designed for live sports betting audiences, the latest move to increase integration of wagering within its media output.

A dedicated betting stream, the PGA Tour LIVE Betcast delivered in partnership with DraftKings, will be carried on ESPN+ at 12 tournaments next year.

The schedule opens at the WM Phoenix Open this week and represents a sharp expansion from the project’s initial trial phase.

The betting stream was first introduced in 2025, when it operated across six Tour events and delivered limited live output.

In 2026, total live coverage will exceed 400 hours, with selected tournaments offering continuous betting-centric broadcasts across all competition days.

Each event will feature a standalone feed running from the opening tee time through to the conclusion of play.

Coverage is structured around live wagering activity, with constant updates to odds, in-play markets, and statistical indicators aligned with betting decisions.

The opening tournament takes place at TPC Scottsdale. Betting markets will be available across a field that includes former WM Phoenix Open winners Brooks Koepka and Scottie Scheffler.

With the event staged on Super Bowl weekend, operators expect heightened interest in cross-sport wagering products.

Studio production will originate from PGA Tour Studios in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Jonathan Coachman will present the opening broadcast, joined by ESPN analyst Michael Collins and former Tour winner Matt Every.

400 hours of betting-focused coverage

Rick Gehman will contribute betting analysis throughout the four tournament rounds, continuing his role from the previous season.

Additional studio contributors during the Phoenix event include Graham DeLaet, Jeff Eisenband, Kevin Sylvester, and Steve Scott.

Golfbet analysts Chris Breece and Will Gray will provide betting insight on-site from the DraftKings Sportsbook located near the Stadium Course finish.

The Tour has described the expanded Betcast offering as part of its broader gaming strategy.

Officials confirmed that the 2026 programme will deliver more than 400 hours of betting-focused coverage through partnerships with ESPN and DraftKings, building on engagement recorded during the initial rollout.

The updated format introduces additional betting markets and data-led narratives throughout tournament play.

Betting-related programming during WM Phoenix Open week extends beyond standard rounds. The Tour will also stage The Showdown at 16 presented by DraftKings, a nighttime closest-to-the-pin elimination contest on the Stadium Course’s 16th hole.

Eight content creators will compete for a £50,000 charity donation. The event will be streamed on the PGA Tour YouTube channel on Saturday, 7 February.

Subsequent Betcast events will include the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, The Genesis Invitational, and THE PLAYERS Championship.

Additional tournaments scheduled for betting streams are the Cadillac Championship, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, the RBC Heritage, the Travellers Championship, and the Truist Championship.

The season concludes with betting coverage across all three FedEx Cup Playoffs events.

Each round of the BMW Championship, the FedEx St Jude Championship, and the Tour Championship will feature dedicated wagering-focused broadcasts as the FedEx Cup winner is determined.
